Glass Painting - (Virtual) Supplies Delivered to You

Description:

Get ready to have a blast as Art by the Glass Studio helps you paint your very own pair of  wine, beer, stemless wine glasses, mason jars or coffee mugs online!  These make great decorative glasses to drink from or display, or give someone you know a gift from the heart! **We deliver to the Greater Austin area and as far north as Lampasas Contact us if you aren't sure if we can deliver to you.**

All supplies will be delivered the day before the event.  Select from the drop down how many glasses you will be painting and make sure to put in the comments what type of glasses you'd like to paint.

You can check out our Pinterest board here for different designs you can try.  If you send us a picture via email (artbytheglassstudio@gmail.com) we will send you instructions before the event that you can follow during class.  We can also help choose colors based off any photos you send if you're not sure what you need.

Colors to choose from (basic colors; we do have various shades available if you need something besides what is listed i.e. Light Blue, Hot Pink, etc), or you can combine colors to mix:
Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Turquoise, Blue, Dark Blue, Purple, Brown, Black, White.

Metallics (we do not have various shades of metallics, only what's listed): Pink, Red, Orange, Gold, Green, Blue, Dark Blue, Icy Blue, Pewter, Black, Silver, Brown (coppery), pearl.

 

What's included:

Glasses of your choice (standard order comes with 2) Put in the comments what type of glasses you'd like to paint on (Wine, stemless wine glasses, mason jars, coffee mugs, or beer glasses)
Paints (colors of your choice)
Paper plates for mixing paints
Disposable apron
2 paint brushes
Container of rubbing alcohol to erase mistakes
A few Q-tips, cotton balls, and paper towels
Disposable cup for rinsing brushes
Disposable tablecloth
Bag to contain everything
Grocery bag for trash
Basic printed instructions if picture is sent prior to class.
Online guidance will be provided online (instructions will be sent with your receipt) and our instructors will be able to provide you with help, tips, and best practices to get a great looking glass!
Printed instructions on how to bake glasses once your done (in oven) to make them permanent.  The glasses are safe to drink from once baked, and are dishwasher safe once baked, but we still recommend hand washing.

What's not included but you are welcome to use:
Hair dryer to dry paints faster during class
Large or extra small brushes (we will provide a small and medium brush)
Disposable Gloves (to avoid fingerprints)
Painting pens (specific to glass painting, sometimes can make letters easier.  Can be purchased from local craft stores)
Extra Q-tips or cotton balls

This class is perfect for adults, children, or the whole family!
